Bob is proud to be a member of the Memphis LGBTQ Community.
His two personal missions are to connect Reconciling Congregations and LGBTQ persons looking for a faith home and to eliminate the shame and misinformation surrounding HIV in the Mid-South.
Bob volunteers with TEP Gumbo, Mid-South Pride and Friends For Life. He is active in pastoral care at Grace St Luke’s Episcopal Church and works with the Diocese of West Tennessee Kaleidoscope project. He has helped organize events such as Saint Mary’s Cathedral Marriage Equality/Pulse Memorial service, a fundraiser for the Metamorphosis Project. At the Cooper Young festival and the Memphis Pride Fest, you will usually find him staffing a booth for one of these organizations.
Bob also works to promote and support events hosted by OutMemphis, the Mystic Krewe of Pegasus, and Hoist. You will usually find him at Out Bid, Outflix, Drag Bingo, Dining Out For Life, Art Dash, the Mystic Krewe Chili Cook-Off and more. He is a member of Integrity USA. This past year Bob has truly appreciated the love and support of his chosen family here in Memphis.
